Our Management Team

Before being named Chief Executive Officer of Eldorado Drilling in 2026, Mr. Toma served as Chief Executive Officer of Vantage Drilling International Ltd from August 29, 2016. Through his career, he held several senior leadership positions at Transocean, including Executive Vice President – Chief of Staff (2012–2013), Executive Vice President – Operations (2011–2012), Executive Vice President – Global Business (2010–2011) and Senior Vice President – Marketing and Planning (2009–2010). Earlier in his career, he held various roles at Schlumberger from 1986 to 2009.

Mr. Thomson serves as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technical Officer at Eldorado Drilling since 2026. Mr. Thomson brings extensive operational, technical and commercial leadership experience across the offshore drilling industry. Prior to joining Eldorado Drilling, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technical Officer at Vantage Drilling from January 2025. He previously held the roles of Chief Commercial Officer from 2022-2025, Vice President – Marketing and Business Development from 2016 to 2022, and Vice President – Technical Services, Supply Chain and Projects from 2008 to 2016. Earlier in his career, he held a number of operational and technical positions at Transocean and Schlumberger, including Asset Operations Manager – UK, Europe and Africa Technical Support Manager and New Build Project Manager.

Before being named Chief Financial Officer of Eldorado Drilling since 2026. Mr. Blattner served as Chief Financial Officer of Vantage Drilling International Ltd from August 2023. From August 2013 to June 2022, he held various roles at Vantage in Strategic Planning, Treasury, Corporate Development (M&A) and the management of the Managed Services business segment, before being appointed Vice President & Managing Director – Corporate Development & Managed Services in July 2022. Prior to joining Vantage, Mr. Blattner held roles of increasing responsibility at Transocean in Audit, Financial Planning & Analysis and Marketing from 2006 to 2013.

Before being named General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Company Secretary of Eldorado Drilling in 2026, Mrs. French served similar roles at Vantage Drilling, having joined the company in November 2024. Earlier in her career, she served as General Counsel and Company Secretary at Highview Power (2023–2024), Legal Director at Seadrill (2020–2023), and as a private practice lawyer at Maples and CMS Cameron McKenna, including a number of oil and gas and finance secondments (2010–2020).

Mr. Hall serves as Chief Strategy Officer at Eldorado Drilling, bringing extensive international experience in offshore drilling operations, HSEQ, strategy and operational leadership. Through his career, he spent 27 years with Diamond Offshore, progressing through a broad range of offshore, operational and executive leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President – Worldwide Operations, with responsibility for global operations and marine support across the fleet. His previous leadership roles included Senior Vice President – HSEQ & Operations Support, Vice President – HSE, QA & Maintenance and Vice President – Operations. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hall held operational roles including Area Manager, Rig Manager, Rig Engineer and HSEQA Advisor, building extensive experience across deepwater and ultra-deepwater drilling operations in multiple international markets.

Mr. Semple serves as Chief Commercial Officer at Eldorado Drilling, bringing extensive commercial, operational and technical experience across the offshore drilling sector. Prior to joining Eldorado Drilling, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at Vantage Drilling from May 2025 and previously as Vice President – Marketing. Earlier in his career, he held a range of operational and technical roles, including Rig Manager and Marketing Director, after completing the Graduate Rig Engineer Program at Transocean (2006-2008).

Before being named Chief Accounting Officer of Eldorado Drilling in 2026, Mr. Harrell served as Chief Accounting Officer of Vantage Drilling, having joined the company in September 2023. Through his career, he served as Assistant Controller at Cameron LNG (2019–2023), Director of Accounting at American Midstream, LP (2016–2019), and held roles of increasing responsibility at Transocean in Audit, Treasury, Internal Controls and Accounting from 2005 to 2016.

Mrs. Adeeb serves as Head of Human Resources at Eldorado Drilling, bringing extensive experience in strategic HR leadership, people management, organizational development, and HR operations. Prior to joining Eldorado Drilling, she served as Head of Human Resources at Vantage Drilling from September 2024. Having joined Vantage in 2017, she progressed through several HR leadership roles, including HR Manager – Operations and HR Director. Earlier in her career, Mrs. Adeeb served as HR Advisor at Seadrill and held roles across HR, Accounting and Sales. She holds a Master of Science in Strategic HR Management (UK) and a Diploma in Financial Accounting from Harvard Business School (US).

Before being named Vice President – Tax and Treasury of Eldorado Drilling in 2026, Mrs. Schatz served as Vice President – Tax and Treasury of Vantage Drilling from April 2025. She held various global finance roles, including Director of Managed Services Finance, supporting and strengthening the company’s financial operations. Earlier in her career, Mrs. Schatz held multiple roles at Ernst & Young.

Mr. Bauer serves as Vice President – QHSE & Sustainability, bringing extensive experience in safety, risk management and operational QHSE leadership. Prior to joining Eldorado Drilling, he held a range of QHSE roles at Vantage Drilling, progressing into senior leadership. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bauer served as Principal Safety and Risk Consultant – Australasia at RPS Energy (2011-2014), QHSE Manager at COSL Drilling Pan Pacific (2009-2010), and Safety Consultancy Manager at WorleyParsons Services (2006-2009).

Mr. Di Marco serves as Chief Information Officer at Eldorado Drilling, bringing extensive experience in enterprise IT, software development and global support infrastructure. Prior to joining Eldorado Drilling, he served as Chief Information Officer at Vantage Drilling from December 2018. Earlier in his career, Mr. Di Marco held senior technology roles including Head of IT at COSL Drilling Pan Pacific (2009–2017), Head of IT at Premium Drilling (2008–2009), Chief Technical Officer at Columbus (2004–2005), and various positions at Spectec, including Principal Consultant, Product Manager and Managing Director.
